Louis Vuitton’s Volez Voguez Voyagez New York Exhibition

What’s more amazing than all Louis Vuitton everything? I don’t know. But what I do know is that the Louis Vuitton’s Volez Voguez Voyagez Exhibition in New York is one of the most beautiful things I have ever seen and it’s FREE! Yes, free!

Curated by Olivier Saillard, the gorgeous exhibition retraces the adventure of the House of Louis Vuitton from it’s launch in 1854 to the present day. It’s a beautiful story told through the portraits of its founders, as well as those who are re-inventing the Louis Vuitton of the future. Every room is a breathtaking visual that is even more beautiful than the room before it.

From Louis Vuitton: “This historic journey, designed by Robert Carsen, is divided into ten chapters. one of which is entirely devoted to the United States of America and New York City. The tour opens with the most symbolic object of the House: the trunk, a model fashioned with contemporary flair, embodying the iconic hallmarks and bold spirit of Louis Vuitton. The exhibition features objects and documents from the Louis Vuitton heritage archives, as well as select articles on loan from the Palais Galliera and the Musée de la Mode de la Ville de Paris. The exhibition concludes with a display devoted to the savoir-faire of the artisans in the Louis Vuitton workshops.”

The first thing you see when you’re walking into the exhibit is a long room that’s designed to look like the subway complete with a tiled LV wall and a virtual subway train that’s covered in the brand’s iconic LV print. We know as we were walking in that this was going to be something beautiful!

The other rooms in the exhibit are just as gorgeous. There’s a desert room, a sky room covered in clouds, a room with an amazing LV print suede walls and a sexy study room. There’s also a room with iconic dresses worn by celebrities like Nicole KidmanTaylor Swift and Madonna, just to name a few.

There are also so many Instagram-able moments in the exhibit. Get that content, B!

If you’re in New York, make sure to check out this gorgeous exhibit! You’ll love it!
